What this site collects

If you sign up for free Protocol email updates, this site stores your email address, the signup source, the consent wording version and the time of signup. These are free email updates, separate from access to the private research. You may opt out at any time. MailCheap processes your email address and signup source to manage the newsletter. New subscribers receive a confirmation email and join the mailing list after confirming. Your IP address is passed to MailCheap for signup abuse prevention; it is not stored in this site's signup or analytics tables. Strategy call bookings are handled by Cal.com. Basic technical information may be processed automatically for security, reliability, anonymous measurement and abuse prevention.

Anonymous site analytics

This site records anonymous events such as page views and which links are opened. These events are used to understand which parts of the site are useful. They do not include your name or email address, use advertising cookies or assign a persistent visitor profile.

Earlier email signups

An earlier version of this site had an email signup form. The addresses submitted through it are stored in the site's database. No email has been sent to them. You can ask for your address to be deleted through the official X profile linked on this site.

Storage and service providers

Records are stored using the site's hosting infrastructure. MailCheap handles confirmation messages, email delivery, subscription preferences and unsubscribe requests. It may record delivery, bounce, open and click activity to measure newsletter performance and stop sending to inactive addresses. See the MailCheap privacy policy. Service providers may process limited information only to provide their services, protect the platform or comply with law.

Sharing and selling

Personal information is not sold. Information may be shared with necessary service providers, when required by law or as part of a legitimate business transfer.

Retention and your choices

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed for security, legal or operational purposes. Use the unsubscribe link in an email to stop newsletter delivery. A later website signup does not automatically override an earlier unsubscribe. You may request access, correction or deletion through the official X profile linked on this site.

Third-party links and media

This site links to services such as X, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Cal.com and The Protocol at protocol.sheldonevans.com. The Cal.com booking page loads inside this site only after you choose to open it. Those services apply their own privacy practices when you visit or interact with them.
